Cleaning an ashtray is a daunting task, especially if it is not done regularly. The ash sticks to the walls of an ash tray if not cleaned for a long time and turns into an ash concrete. 

Hence, cleaning such an ashtray becomes an irritating task. Ashtrays are one of the most important home accessories that help accentuate the interior of an abode along with keeping the home tidy and clean. It is a must-have for smokers. However, it is usually found in every home for decorative purposes. 



To make your ashtray look new, follow the cleaning tips listed below:
  1.  Wash you ashtray thoroughly with your regular dish washing soap or liquid. Wash it under the running water and once it is washed, keep it aside and let it dry.
  2.  Once it dries completely, spray the furniture polish over its entire surface.
  3. Take a paper towel and dry the ashtray with it. However, don’t dry it completely. This paper is meant to soak the excess furniture polish from some areas and not to remove it completely. Drying the ashtray with the paper towel is done to leave the thin coating of furniture polish so that the coating looks even.
  4. Allow the ashtray to dry completely.

I love to decorate my house with something new or the other. I go out purchasing cushions, pillow covers, bed sheets, furnishings, crockery, etc. whenever I get time or get the hitch to shop. The summers couldn’t stop me to move out and buy cushion covers for my small square shaped cushions. I am quite obsessed with my house and always want it to be new and different every time a guest comes. I like collecting crockery as well, this is because I love to cook food, and till the time food isn’t served in a proper dish it doesn’t look tempting.

With the advancement of technology and e-commerce, shopping for home furnishings has become a cake walk. Just imagine, you can select your piece and get it delivered at your doorstep for free. The shopping culture has changed, initially you had to roam around from shop to shop, then eventually you like a product and then you bargain. But with this advancement, your favorite product is just a few clicks away from you. You can just chill sipping a soft drink or juice, switch on your laptop or PC and just enjoy surfing and shopping.

It looks tedious for the first timers, but once you get habituated, trust me you’ll not be able to find a better medium to buy cushions, and everything. I have found bed sheets online, and they were wonderful. Not just that even you can buy home furnishings online easily and at great prices. So buy what you like and explore the new world of shopping!
